DIY For Halloween without Spending Much

Halloween is just around the corner and a lot of kids are already getting excited with the prospect that they are going to do new projects. The materials sometimes used for DIY projects can be expensive though. Choosing the right project to do that will be enjoyed by kids will be the best thing that you can do.

DIY Door Decoration

This is a fun and easy project to make and the good part is that the materials that you need are inexpensive. Here are the things that you will need for this project:

  • Marker
  • Paper Plates
  • White Crepe Paper
  • Scissors
  • Scotch Tape or Masking Tape

decorSince doors should also be decorated so that children will also feel the excitement of the upcoming Halloween event, the door can be decorated like a ghost. The first thing that you have to do is create an outline of a ghost using a white crepe paper. Once you have already done this, you can then instruct the kids to draw eyes on the paper plates using the black marker. The type of eyes that can be drawn will depend on your preference. You can also use the paper plate to make the ghost’s mouth.

This is an easy project that you can do with kids and will look great on your door. After the Halloween season, it can be easy to remove the decorations already provided that you will do it again the year after, probably with a different character in mind or a decorated kids ATVs, next time?

A Mom’s Thought on Graduation Day

Moms usually are very proud of their kids come graduation day. There are some moms though who might expect a lot from their children and they will not be happy if their son or their daughter won’t be able to get the highest honors that can possibly be bestowed upon them.

We all have to remember that every child would like to graduate whether they admit it or not. There is still something about putting a smile on their parent’s face especially their mom the moment that they come up on stage to get their diploma. A mom should always be thankful for that that their kids would like to show their appreciation too by the simple things that they can do such as attending graduation day.

MY FITNESS JOURNEY WITH C-LIUM

The C-lium Lose More, Live More Bloggers’ Edition challenge has ended. But my commitment to reach my goal to lose more and stay fit will stay on.

Being included as one of the C-lium ambassadors is perhaps one of the most exciting and unforgettable experiences I had so far.

C-lium fibre has been my partner throughout the four-week challenge and I am still using the food supplement to look and feel young.

Before the C-lium Journey  (May 2012) – After the challenge (Sept. 13, 2012)

Happily, I lost 7 pounds off the pre-challenge weight and I continue to lose more as of this writing.

I will continue to work harder to be able to reach my desired weight following the things I have learned throughout the challenge – proper nutrition and exercise.

You can also adapt different exercises that suit your stamina. The one that works for me is the 4-minute exercise, the work out of the day (WOD) I learned from Crossfit Manila, and 30 minutes to an hour of Zumba.

The challenge now lies in maintaining the healthy lifestyle.

Exercise and day-to-day activities at home plus taking C-lium Fibre has helped me reduce my food cravings as it makes me feel full when meal time comes. I’m taking two sachets, one before breakfast and another in the evening.

I hope my four-week journey to lose weight has inspired you in some ways.

Our journey to C-lium Lose More, Live More Bloggers’ Edition will not be possible without the help from the men and women of C-Lium Fibre, Medicard, Crossfit Manila.

This is not the end but the beginning of a journey towards better health. Will keep you posted as I make an update of my weight loss progress hereon.
