The kids and I attended a free seminar conducted by the National Book Development Board, the Intellectual Property Philippines and the Filipinas Heritage Library at the Technoportal UP-AyalaLand in Quezon City, last Friday. The occasion marked the celebration of World Book and Copyright Day. I’ve learned about the event through mommy Rossel. Thank you, sis.
Our original plan was to attend the Book Illustration Workshop for kids conducted by the Adarna House. My kids are looking forward to that event. It was scheduled after lunch, but unfortunately, we didn’t make it on time.
We’re able to catch half of the Food and Travel Writing Workshop, which is the last scheduled activity of the one-day seminar. I’ve heard seasoned bloggers talk about their food and travel experiences. Too bad I don’t even have a pen to take down notes. Now I can hardly recall anything said by the panelists. 🙁
Me and Rossel
We met Rossel and Ning Buning after the seminar, took a couple of pictures with them, look around for books at the mini book fair found at the lobby, and purchased a couple of books before we head off to SM Fairview.
