Kare-kare is a Philippine stew. It is made from peanut sauce with a variety of vegetables, stewed oxtail, beef, and occasionally offal or tripe. Meat variants may include goat meat or (rarely) chicken. (wikipedia)

Never ko pa na try ang chicken kare-kare, only oxtail,beef and pork.

I missed eating kare-kare. I am yet to learn cooking it eh. Need to ask my Auntie Mel about her recipe. I want my kare-kare to be creamy. The shrimp paste should stand out too.
